Over 40 million people in the United States suffer from an anxiety-based disorder. The anxiety epidemic affects people of all ages—25% of teens ages 13 to 18 in this country have anxiety, while 30% of all adults in the United States are suffering. The United States of Anxiety is an informational design piece that highlights statistics that indicate how anxiety is affecting our country. All of the statistics, including causes and symptoms of anxiety, radiate out from the head of a stressed young women at the bottom of the piece, representing how overwhelmed her anxiety is making her feel.
